The wood of the body is manually processed and oiled. The natural grain of the figure is emphasized by wax made of natural ingredients. The head of the Tern is painted black. The decorative figurine is reminiscent of a tern that perches on a breakwater off the Baltic coast &#8211; an element of Doki&#8217;s identity. This problem inspired the Tartaruga studio. This is why the Wasteworld project was born &#8211; a collection of hand-woven rugs and home textiles made with over 90% of wool yarns left over from mass production of carpets. Due to the low weight of the individual reels, they cannot be used in industry. Julia Pawlikowska, Olga M\u0119\u017cy\u0144ska, Urszula Burgie\u0142 (born 1988) are students (now graduates) of the University of Arts in Pozna\u0144, they took part in the 10th edition of the Education and Design Program (PE-P). The eggs he uses are donated by bakeries that no longer need them and would otherwise end up in the garbage can. The material is produced in the process of drying and grinding proteins, which are then mixed with crushed shells.
